- Boy Scout & Girl Scout Month
Reserve your Girl or Boy Scout group of 20 or more this month and receive the youth group rate of $2.00 per person for everyone in the group. Email groupsales@borail.org or call 410-752-2490 to book your group. Offer and discount valid at Ellicott City Station. Other rates apply for B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore.
- Blacksmith Day
Saturday, September 27, 2008 11am-4pm
Celebrate the Ellicott City Fall Fest by joining members of the Blacksmith Guild of Central Maryland at their forges on the B&O Plaza. The station provides a rare opportunity to watch blacksmiths ply their trade. 5-12 years old can try their hand at forging plasticene clay with wooden hammers. Pre-register for 11:30 & 1:30 sessions by calling 410-461-1945.

Saturday, October 18 & Sunday, October 19, 2008 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. For kids of every age. Explore Victorian home entertainment, toys, conundrums, parlor games, and crafts. Have fun the old fashioned way!

- Candlelight Evening
Friday, November 21, 2008 7-10pm Enjoy a special evening of music, history and refreshments at the historic sites of Ellicott City. Sites throughout the town will be open from 7 - 10 p.m.

Friday, December 5, 2008 Enjoy holiday shopping in Ellicott City’s historic district! The Ellicott City Station’s Museum Store will be open as well as some of the exhibits.
