Located at 2711 Maryland Avenue in Ellicott City, MD, the Station is adjacent to Main Street in the historic district of Ellicott City, Maryland and is easily accessible from Interstate 95 and the Baltimore Beltway, I-695. On-site parking is not available, and street parking is limited, but there are paid and free parking lots in and around Ellicott City (see map)
From the North (Towson, York, Harrisburg)
Take 83 South to 695 West to Frederick Road (Rt. 144). Take Frederick Road West for approx. 5 miles, you enter Ellicott City going over the Patapsco River and under the railroad bridge. The Museum is on your left on Maryland Avenue just past the bridge.
From the South (Washington)
Take 95 North to 100 West to 29 North. Stay in the right lane and take Route 40 East. At the first light make a right onto Rogers avenue. After the court house, take a right onto Ellicott Mills Drive, continue until you come to Main Street Historic Ellicott City, and turn left at the light. Just before going under the railroad bridge, turn right onto Maryland Avenue and the Museum is on your left.
From the East (Delaware, New Jersey, New York)
Take 95 South through the Fort McHenry Tunnel to 695 North to Frederick Road (Rt. 144). Take Frederick Road West for approx. 5 miles, you enter Ellicott City going over the Patapsco River and under the railroad bridge. The Museum is on your left on Maryland Avenue.
From the West (Western Maryland)
Take 70 East to 29 South, take second exit for Route 40 East. At the second light make a right onto Rogers Avenue. After the court house take a right onto Ellicott Mills Drive, continue until you come to Main Street Historic Ellicott City, and turn left at the light. Just before going under the railroad bridge, turn right onto Maryland Avenue, and the Museum is on your left.
